Blanca sin grado
For years, we have been working on the search for grape varieties with their own personality, adapted to today’s climate and capable of producing distinctive wines.
From that spirit comes this still-unnamed grape: a variety currently in the testing phase, planted and vinified in small experimental plots, with one very clear goal: to produce quality wines with a naturally lower alcohol content.
We are not talking about a “diluted” wine or one subjected to dealcoholization processes, but rather a variety whose genetics naturally lead it to ripen with less sugar and, therefore, to generate less alcohol during fermentation.
The fact that it still has no name does not mean it lacks character.
This grape is the result of years of vineyard observation, plant selection, and micro-vinifications. Each harvest brings us new information: how it behaves in the heat, how it maintains acidity, which aromas prevail, and what kind of wine it allows us to produce.
We are at that exciting point where we listen to the vineyard and let it guide the way. Only when we are sure we have found its best expression will we give it a name.
WHAT DOES A WINE MADE FROM THIS GRAPE TASTE LIKE?As this is an ongoing project, we are still defining the best way for it to express itself (pruning method, yields, optimal harvest timing, ageing, etc.). However, some sensory traits are starting to repeat:

Aromas of white fruit and citrus, with very clean and direct notes.

A sense of freshness and lightness on the palate.

A medium-light body, with a pleasant texture and an easy-drinking finish.

A refreshing finish, designed more for drinking than for analysing.
It is a grape that invites you to take another sip—wines that are relaxed yet well made, perfect for those who want to enjoy wine with moderate alcohol levels.
