A unique red wine, 100% Cenicienta

Among the centuries-old Verdejo vines of Pago de Saltamontes (a family vineyard acquired in 1863), there is an unusual red vine, of unknown genetics, which Javier Sanz has recovered to make this unique red wine that stands out for its originality.

The grapes are harvested by hand with a first selection of clusters in the vineyard. After destemming, the must ferments in two small stainless steel tanks of 1,200 liters, where it will remain for some time on its lees. The wine is then filtered and transferred directly to the bottle, where it rests for the appropriate time before leaving the winery.

TASTING NOTES

A unique red wine, made from the Cinderella variety, which surprises for its originality and power. Intense cherry red color and high layer, presents a great aromatic complexity, highlighting fruity notes of blackcurrant and blackberry, along with a mineral touch. In the mouth, it is fresh and balanced, with velvety and ripe tannins. The aftertaste of red berries and undergrowth lengthens into a lingering finish that leaves its mark.
