This wine is made from Bruñal grapes, a variety native to the Arribes del Duero that has found an exceptional adaptation in the vineyards of La Seca, Valladolid. The vines grow in very poor soil, with boulders on the surface and a clay subsoil that gives the wine its distinctive minerality. This combination of factors gives the wine a unique personality, faithfully reflecting the terroir in each bottle.
The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully selecting the clusters in the vineyard to ensure maximum quality. Once in the winery, a second selection is made on the table before destemming. The grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks, where they are macerated with periodic pumping over, optimizing phenolic and aromatic extraction. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures below 24ºC. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for four months in French and American oak barrels before bottling.
Cherry red in color with purple hues, this wine has a clean and bright appearance.
On the nose, it stands out for its aromatic intensity, with notes of fresh red fruit perfectly integrated with the subtle contributions of the wood and the mineral touches provided by the soil.
The palate is fresh, with a well-balanced acidity that lingers from start to finish. A fleshy, sweet and enveloping wine that invites you to enjoy every sip.
