A singular Verdejo in magnum. Malcorta is a Verdejo clone that was almost extinct until Javier Sanz Viticultor brought it back after years of research. It was abandoned because its bunches were so hard to cut at harvest, hence the name «Mal-corta» (badly cut). Vintage 2024.

Malcorta is a surprisingly nuanced wine, floral and citrusy, with pleasant natural acidity and marked persistence. Bright pale straw in colour. On the nose, very clean and intense aromas of citrus, white flowers and stone fruit, with a soft mineral note. On the palate, its marked acidity brings out a fresh, lively character that pairs perfectly with shellfish and white fish such as hake, cod or sole, grilled or baked.
